Avian Influenza Laboratory, Institute of Tropical Disease, Airlangga University led by Dr C.A. Nidom has been established to deal with bird flu research in Indonesia. Dr Nidom’s team is working in virus surveillance to farmers, wet markets, chicken abattoirs, human suspects neighborhood, and also environmental assesment in order to investigate the trend of avian influenza virus. The team’s acitivity can be viewed at AI Lab Unair.
