Indonesia ::: Total A/H1N1 2009 now 28 cases

Jakarta – Eight more patients in Indonesia have been confirmed H1N1 2009 flu infection. They are now being treated at Sanglah hospital in Denpasar, Sulianti Saroso hospital in Jakarta and Adam Malik hospital in Medan.

This confirmation is according to the data of General Directorate of Disease Control and Environmental Health (P2PL) and Research and Development Bureau, Ministry of Health (Depkes).

Newly confirmed patients are: AM (24), male, hospitalized in Sanglah; BH (25) and IA (19), both are males, hospitalized in Sulianti Saroso; and three male patients in Adam Malik hospitals, VI (20), WI (9) and CA (27).

Two other patients are also under treatment, but there is no information about the location of the hospital. Both patients are XL (40), male, known has history visiting Thailand and Malaysia; and a female, LT (age is unknown), with history of visiting Singapore.

“Indonesia has recorded 28 positive cases of H1N1 2009. Of 28 positive cases, 5 of them were previously treated at Sanglah hospital. They have recovered and returned home,” said Head of Public Communication Center of Ministry of Health, Lily S. Sulistyowati in a  press release yoday.
