Five bird flu suspected patients are under intensive care
A family with 5 members Ni Wayan S (42), Ni Wayan D (50), Komang Ayu S (14), Ni Nengah R (40), I Ketut R (10) were transferred to Sanglah hospital after developed high fever and breathing difficulty. They live in Banjar Lebu Gede Singosari, Sidemen, Karang Asem. Those patients which hospitalized at Klungkung hospital before were suspected for bird flu infection.
According to Bird Flu Controlling Team of Sanglah hospital, those patients were showed bird flu negative result after clinical examination and bird flu rapid test. The field source said the lot of people in that area were developed breathing difficulty symptom since Galungan (one of Hindu’s religious day. -adm-). Also there is no report that patients has any contact with sick or dead chicken.
